A true mountain to metro woman, Kathleen Crowley is a product of her Vermont upbringing, decades of living in the Tetons, and her studies and travel adventures around the world. To begin, Kathleen graduated from Yale University with a B.A. in Art History and earned an M.Ed. from Harvard University before co-founding and co-leading the Jackson Hole Community School, an independent high school in Jackson, Wyoming, from 2004-2008.  She purposefully stepped away from the school to pursue other endeavors, including her artistic passions. Kathleen began sewing upcycled pieces of clothing and sold them in local and regional artisan markets while continuing to tutor K-8 students on the side. In 2020, she began the process of building KAUTE, a sustainable fashion brand focused on merging elevated design with everyday functionality to meet the needs of its customers. KAUTE’s journey is definitively Kathleen’s journey. Every step has brought her closer to revealing her true self and her vision for an abundant and thriving planet.
